VideoBump does not directly collect, store, or transmit any personal information, does not use analytics, and has no server component. However, VideoBump displays advertisements through Google AdMob, which may collect certain data (see Section 4).
VideoBump does not request broad access to your video library. It only ever receives the specific video (or videos) you choose to share into it using Android's built-in Share feature. When you use the "Move" option, Android shows you a one-time system permission prompt asking you to confirm write access to that specific video before its date is changed — VideoBump never accesses or modifies any video you haven't explicitly shared with it.
A small record of a video's original date is kept in the app's private storage on your device only, so that the "Undo" feature (including "Undo all" for a batch) can restore it later. This record never leaves your device.
This app uses Google AdMob to display ads, which helps keep the app free to use. AdMob may collect data such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and general app usage information in order to serve ads and measure their performance. This data is processed according to Google's own privacy and advertising policies:

This app offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock batch mode, processed through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details — these are handled entirely by Google Play. See Google's own policies for how they handle this data:
Aside from the advertising data described in Section 4, which is processed by Google/AdMob to serve ads, we do not sell, trade, or share any data with third parties.
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age. Advertising shown in this app is served in accordance with Google Play's policies for apps not primarily directed at children.
